Its not as good as Florida buts it's good. Fights to france are pretty cheap, we've been by bus twice and it's too much. I like the cheyanne, much better than the drab Santa Fe.

Just came back from there ourselves and we had a freebie cause we paid with our Tesco Clubcard vouchers. My advice would be to stay at the cheapest hotel cause you don't spendany time at hotel cause your are out allday, also take crisps, sweets, buscuits, ect with you cause everything is very very expensive.

There is a petrol station just outside the santa fe you can buy pop, crisps and sandwiches in much cheaper than the parks.

    Hi Lone Ranger

I have organised a trip after looking at the packages and deciding that they were way too expensive. If you look at expedia they have some good hotel deals, we go in April and our room for 4 of was £101 for 3 nights! All sharing, 2 adults and 2 children, but like they say - you arn't going for the sleeping arrangements!

Got some cheap ez jet flights out of luton, £200 for all of us and a hire car for 3 days the other side £65. Got to add to this the diesel to Luton and carparking I got down to £20 with APH with an AA discount. Please pm if you require an further advice on any of this, we got our trip down to about £636, package price was £272 per person for a 2n stay and of course we'd still have to get ourselves down to london for the train. Our hotel is outside of disney to the tune of about 7k, no big deal, and one day, we are going to spend in Paris anyway. Hotel between site and Paris. Expedia are the only online agent I am aware of that search in this way, you can choose a hotel in a city, near an airport or near an attraction. http://www.expedia.co.uk/pub/agent.dll?qscr=htin&sopt=1&rfrr=-13004&&zz=1142698966421&

Here is a picture of our hotel - looks nice.. http://www.jpmoser.com/bussysaintgeorges.html

I've never been b4, so I'm certainly not an authority on the subject, but feel this is a much more reasonable deal than the package price, £1088 for 2n in France is too much.

    Good luck

O, nearly forgot, quidco offer a discount for making an expedia booking, so got some money off there as well. Use them for car hire as well, although we found holidayautos the cheapest and they are not on with quidco.
  • Hi Lone Ranger, I've been a couple of times with my DD. I've never stayed in a Disney Hotel due to the expense. I've stayed both times in Bussey St Georges -which is two stops from the Disney station -thats a couple of minutes from the main gate. The trains to Disney are extremely frequent and it took about 10 miutes I'd say last trains in the summer left disney at around about midnight. There are two hotels in the area - A holiday inn and a Golden tulip - both are good 3 star hotels. They were about the third a disney room would have cost me. Also it was nice to get away from the mouse as well. The area has resturants and shops so picked up crisps pop etc from there to take to the parks.

I've flown once which was the best way for me you can get a bus to disney from Charles De gaulle and the other airport. The other time I did Euro Star which was really a pain due to the fact I live up north.

I took my wife to Paris last year and we had a day out to Euro Disney.

Some suggestions for keeping it as inexpensive as possible...

    a) Fly to Paris CDG, Easyjet fly from London Luton and Liverpool to Paris...we paid approx £50 return each. To get this fare you'd have to book well in advance, at least 6 months and travel during the week as opposed to weekend.

    b) Hotels in the centre of Paris are EXPENSIVE, if you want to keep costs down stay in a hotel outside the city centre and travel into the cntre using the excellent Paris METRO system. The METRO also runs frequent trains direct to Euro Disney. Avoid staying at the resort...it WILL cost you a fortune.

    Hope this helps!

Oh, I'd also take a packed luch with you to Euro DIsney, the food is EXPENSIVE and not very nice - typical McDonalds etc.

I love staying in the disney hotels. It cost us just over £700, with park passes and a character breakfast for 4 nights just before christmas last year staying at the cheyanne. We are naughty thought we fill a flask from the coffee machine at breakfast and one from the OJ to take into the park. We also take chocolate bread and some ham sanwiches from breakfast.Everyone does it!
I don't think Disney hotels are that expensive.

You can always stay with Eurocamp, who have a campsite, in central Paris (on an island in the river!) or at Bernie rivier campsite 20 min drive from Euro Disney. Both have caravans and tents to hire. And Eurocamp costs always include ferry.
