Great spot for the Loyd Grossman link. Seriously how many times do you think we could enter? I have a hoard of these, love 'most' of them. Pity the flippin recycle men have been as there was about 12 in the bin...all those codes gone to waste, scrummy dinner though!

On another note buying Finish.....I only buy in 5's twice did 10 MAX. How many is too many in 1 shop? Just deadly curious I am gutless to do more than the 10 I did, crapping myself I was.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I personally have no desire to use the five pounds off coupon, as my transactions are not anywhere near as large as thirty pounds. I will def be giving that one a miss and will just carry on as normal breaking my shopping up into many smaller transactions in order to maximise my coupon use.
Agreed - I try not to spend more than £20, only tends to be over £30 if OH is with me :rotfl:
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Hi guys, I have read of this couponing lark and, while I always use a coupon (when available) if I buy the product I have been reluctant to use them just to get money off like you all seem to do :D. But want this to change!

I like near Dundee and have found that in the past Tesco have been really anal about accepting coupons even when I have bought the product. Morrisons scrutinises the coupon like it's a legal document, and the when I tried to use coupons and was denied I mentioned the policy I'd "been told by a friend" in Asda they looked at me like I was an alien or something.
Does anyone here live nearby and know of a supermarket (hey I'm a tart and shop in them all so not bothered really which one) which allows (or doesn't give much gip) you to use coupons when you don't buy the thing.
    Thanks for your help,

    MrsB.

You really need to read the first 2 posts of this thread as it has all the info regarding stores & their coupon policies.
Asking if somone is from your area probably won't be covered there so that part is relevant in your post. Hope somone can help you out & save you some dosh.
I am nowhere near so of no use I'm afraid.

Hi there, hope this is in right place, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Honey and Coupon Mad and Bullshot and all you other coupon experts for telling us about the latest coupons and updating the beginning of this thread, you are total stars! I am yet to find a new coupon, but if ever I do, I will let you all know. I do feel guilty about not giving anything back! Even if I do spot something, one of you got there already!!

Only thing I can mention is that last Sunday pm the Tesco pharmacist very kindly gave my son (who was having a tantrum as I refused to buy him a Ben Ten magazine, cruel mother) a bounty bag, this stopped his tantrum (I could have leapt over counter and kissed the man) ; he enjoyed reading leaflet on how to give up smoking (weird child) and at home I discovered some coupons - 40p off Alpro soya;50p off Splenda and 2 Tesco specific ones - 40p off Lactofree and50P off Pure Soya Spread.

    Might be worth us checking out the websites for these companies to see if the vouchers are available there, also worth chatting up your local Tesco pharmacist to see if they have these bags;

you could also take your child or a friend's child to Tesco, get it to have tantrum ....just joking....

Probably not right place but also worth mentioning that it was just before they closed on Sun and they were selling off large branded loaves for 6p and small pancakes for 4p and half cucumber for 5p, definitely a good time to go shopping!:D

Was diverted to till just opened with really miserable old trout...she handled my coupons like they were covered in dog dirt...saying " I can't take these, you haven't bought any of these items" ..yes you can...no I can't ...yes you can etc....and you've printed these she said looking at me as though I was a terrorist..can't possibly take these...yes you can...turned to woman behind me...sorry for this delay in serving you but this lady is trying to use 'THESE'...waving my lovely freshly printed mocs in the air...now I was mad...please call for your supervisor I said..."yep" came the supervisory reply all absolutely OK, and you ought to know that by now, you've been here long enough....I think she just wanted to be awkward I said, but for £12 off my £17 shop, I wasn't taking any prisoners....Stand your ground peeps....

You have to say why you did/didn't like the sauce....

Purchase may be necessary but it says that the code is on the neck of bottle so those with notebooks (Sher!;)) maybe can get a load and share with us who haven't got the 'bottle' to do that :D

Will do my best to remember to look when I go shopping today!:D

They stopped taking them in November unless you bought the product, so they were right.

But when they get on their high horse, they should remember that they used to allow any item with coupons, so shouldn't be so up themselves.

A brief explanation of the change in rules would have sufficed.

I was treated like crap yesterday at Asda, despite buying the items. Glad i don't shop there much. When is comes to coupons (when buying the items) i find Sainsburys the best. Ive never been questioned once.

We also visited an Asda yesterday thankfully not the one closest to home but also had problems using the finish vouchers. We were told they didn't accept internet coupons even though obviously we had the right product etc as they could be photocopies and all the usual rubbish they spout lol!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Strange how we have used the same vouchers in the same store a few times already. Needless to say we walked out without the finish tablets.:mad::mad:
I payed a visit to cs and got the store managers name and phone number so armed with the policy in front of me thanks to the op I am now about to ring them and let them now how unhappy I was lol!!! :rotfl::rotfl::T:T

Will let you all know how I get on lol!!! :D

I dont see why excited about this £5 off a £30 spend in tesco....... please can someone explain. My tesco is about 3 miles away, and i have another tesco express, just a short 5 min ride away that i've never been into. will these take the coupons? do tesco express have lots of items in them?. we go to asda, and usually spend about £30/£40 and do top up shops for bread and milk near the shops here. So... is it worth getting the sun, as im unsure if this is a good deal, considereing we never shop at the tesco 3 mile away, or the one near to me......

What if they don't take the sun coupons?. could i try to use other coupons along with the £5 one, ? sorry so many questions :D

I have no coupons anyway, i give them away didnt it :D

I'll def do at least 1x £30 shop as I have just a got a 'double points 'coupon with my deals statement, will get a mobile top-up( stop laughing you lot...bully has bought a new phone, saved so much this month with coupons thought I'd invest in a flashy phone and it came with 500 free minutes, so I'm posing with it all over the place, ringing around all the Sainsburys and Asda for free asking about Quantum... still PAYG)plus I'll stock up on the offers, Nice n Easy is 3 for price of 2 at the mo and also got £1.50 moc for it with my deals statement works out at around £2.80 each instead of £4.57...so there's almost £20 there already, throw in a few Pikapaks, say 5 ,to get another £10 of coupons back( must stop buying Pikapaks, they're covering the whole of the spare bed now ) and I'm on my way to £30...minus the £5 and then around £6 of internet mocs,( have only 1 computer) £2 of Pikapak moc's and there's £13 off a £30 shop...might have to throw in a Purina to get me to at least 50% off the total bill .
