    What a day I had - i phoned CS this morning as I read the Sun £5 didnt scan - they confirmed they are allowing it.

    Went to Tesco, stopped at CS desk and said I would be using my £5 sun token, they said Yes thats fine, no problem with the Sun £5 morrisons.

    Did my first shop of £50 to use the Times £5 also presented my moc about £25 worth. Lady on till said i couldnt use moc if I didnt purchase product, she had already input my Times £5 (it scans fine). Asked her to call a manager over, manager said no to moc, I gave her my printout of policy and told her to go and ring head office. There were about 5 CS staff round me now. They shut my tilll lane down. 15 mins on she appears and said head office said yes to all my moc but NO to £5 Times/Waitrose, I told them they were wrong and got CS managers name, she didnt have a name of Head Office person though. She let me use the £5 Morrisons coupon on my £50 shop though. So the voucher I thought was fine was deducted and not allowed and the harder to use Sun was allowed. £55 shop and £21 to pay.

    Did my secound shop £30 and used another Sun £5.

    Got home phoned CS and told them about Waitrose £5, they will phone the store and put store manager right and are sending me a £5 gift card and very apologetic about my embarressing shopping day.

    I stood my ground all the way all thanks to Coupon-Mads sound advice.

    Recd a very nice letter day from Tesco Dundee

    "I am sorry to hear that our store refused to accept the £5 off £50 waitrose voucher in the store. I have spoken to X X to advise that we do accept these vouchers. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience that you were caused due to this.

    Enclosed £5 money card to account for the voucher that wasnt accepted.

    All Tesco specific coupons display the Tesco Logo. We will only accept these at the till if you buy the product shown on the coupon at the time.

    We're happy to accept a non-Tesco product coupon even if you dont buy the item. But the coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the product.

    If you present more than 1 identical coupon you need to purchase the same number of products. This also includes printed from the Internet. Some of these vouchers may be subject tp acceptance at the discretion of the Store Manager."

    Cant wait to go back next week armed with my lovely letter and £5 gift card at the ready if I get the same problems again.

    Could someone please explain why people are saving the garden MOCS to PDF. Tesco do not stock this product so surely people are not getting excited at the thought of actually buying the product from a garden centre and geting £1 off. It is worrying when people say " Im sure it is sold at Garden centres only but will see if it will scan tomorrow". Im sure it will scan but this does not mean it is right or good for long term coupon policy!!

    If this is directed at me..

    When hubby goes to Mr T's .. He always asks if they sell the product first if its a coupon he has not seen the product before

    He does not just give it to them and see if it scans, or even try the self scanner.. He always does it the correct way..

    This was on another thread, may help someone, posted by Tyzer2001;

    I'm a new poster so please excuse me barging in.
    Currently in Evans (plus size clothing) stores on the counter there is a flyer for voting in some sort of high street fashion awards. On the back of the flyer is a 40p off NSS voucher for Comfort. The staff don't seem to mind how many flyers you pick up

    Edit after google;

    It seems to be Comfort Prima High St Fashion Awards - so should be in loads of high st clothes shops not just Evans

    if we refer to post 677 by princess coupon she has found that tesco does sell this product and I have now saved it to file as I'm sure quite a few of us have,I like what your hubby does before he uses a new coupon, well done :T:T

    And me too! I wouldn't jeopardise the long term win of Tesco's coupon policy for a quick £2 gain.

    And thanks Princess Coupon for establishing that T's does actually sell it. I was trying to find out the same but you beat me to it!! Great news!

    Westland 250ml Resolva Concentrate

    went on Tesco.com and found 2 Westland products (same make as the 2 new £1 PDF'S) so my local don't sell the specific product on the MOC'S but a Tesco somewhere might:confused:

    This was my previous post which was that my T's stock 2 gardening products of the same brand but not the specific products on the MOC's, my store is not an extra so another store may stock the specific products

    Thanks for kind wishes, I will miss this forum. I dread to think how many pages I will have to read through when I come back - it take me ages to get to the FINISH :rotfl:.

    I..... have absolutely no complaints with my savings this month....total savings this month getting on for £350 ...the Finish mocs have been brill, 70 coupons just for the products at Asda and Sainsburys ... and I have managed to use over £200 of mocs incl a Finish with every shop at Tesco .....and it's still only half way through the month
    I too have had my best month ever thanks to you my fellow MOC fans, I've managed £340 of MOC use this month, double my normal, thanks to Finish and the Purina trick. Popped in last night and got £8 off - had to pay 25% of bill (I can cope with that, rather than we only take 3!) I've worked out I've saved 70% of my total spend this month - this forum has saved us soooo much I feel like another holiday (but I'll draw the line on going somewhere with Euro's!!!). I will have to get one more MOC run in before I go away as I still have a Purina bogof to use plus all the ones found last night - well done newbies:T
    If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
