    Hi its me again.

does anyone know the policy on coupons at Somerfield's. There is one about 3 miles from me which I rarely use, but if they take coupons they might get more custom from me.

    thanks in advance

As far as I know you have to buy the product in Somerfield to be able to use a coupon. Tesco and Waitrose are the only supermarkets that will take coupons with buying the product.

Hi Lori, cool use of colours:Tin the FAQ:D... it may be worth adding in on the FAQs that most stores will accept coupons WHEN PURCHASING the product.
If we don't specify it, the next one will be co-op then, one-stop, budgens......etc

I'm not having a go at couponwoman;), she asked sensible questions and has already had sensible answers.
But I am sure these will appear otherwise appear again.

Good point, Veggiecar! Thanks. I've updated the 2nd post.

Heads Up! Five £5 off £30 spend Morrisons vouchers. We've a tip-off these vouchers are in next week's The Sun (Mon-Sat) valid for 6 weeks; meaning Morrisons shoppers buying the 30p paper make £4.70 profit. See the Daily Deals List: Shopping Vouchers

just spotted this in the weekly email, these can be used in Tescos (This is an official policy not like the coupon policy which is down to individual stores) :jand the 6 week expiry sounds good:T

    :T:T:j:j

Now that is the absolute best start to a coupon thread we've ever had IMHO (apart from Lori's :A frankly brilliant first 2 posts of course).

Six weeks of fivers to use in Tesco!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were turned down last Summer in your local Tesco when trying to use the 'Sun £5 off Morrisons vouchers', then your Tesco was wrong - even if the nearest Morrisons is 200 miles away! As PC says, acceptance of these spend & saves is a national, longstanding Tesco policy. There is no store discretion as long as you are spending the £30.

If you think you may have problems using these in your local Tesco, take my advice and get yourself to the CS desk this week and tell them you know the promo is going to be running again and that you KNOW Tesco are supposed to accept these. You just want to have your store's assurance that they all know the policy on these, as the store didn't know last time.

Then let all the refusals, shaking of heads and other such twaddle run its course this week. Stand your ground (politely, as ever). This is one case where a phone call to Dundee can be useful as they should know the policy (possibly, I would hope) on spend & save vouchers. If you get an idiot first time, you can always get cut off and phone again...;)

Let no-one on here fall for that old chestnut 'but we only accept Sainsburys Spend & saves'. Wrong, wrong, wrong. This used to be the case years ago, but only because Sainsburys were the only Supermarket who used to issue spend & saves. Not true now, see the policy wording on page one 'we accept conditional spend vouchers from all major Supermarkets'.

Oh, I am all excited about this now! How many of the Sun shall I buy each day next week...? A dozen maybe? Must remember not to tell the keenest coupon-using cashiers or there will be no copies left...

Hi again Lori, I see it states on FAQ that no Waitrose policy available:

Waitrose CS email states their policy as

    Waitrose coupon policy

Waitrose accept suppliers’ coupons for any product which we sell, including Waitrose Food Illustrated coupons, whether or not you are purchasing the item for which the coupon was issued and provided that the coupons are valid.
However, the quantity of coupons accepted for each transaction is at the branch discretion.

I tried but it didn't work for me either - I just assumed it was because I had just printed one from the couponnet site!

Keep checking for the coupon to be uploaded to the Nicorette site as it has nothing to do with already printing from couponnet. So when they get around to uploading the coupon you will be able to print it from them.
