The first post two posts by Lori/Hone9036 are the most important of this thread and are the main points of reference.:T
I know that the thanks total for her, should be well over 100 just from the names of the folk I emailed today!!!
But I'm not going to mention it again for a short while (probably;)!)
Well said vc. I'm one who was guilty of not thanking the first posts, after having my wrists slapped I've logged on and done it, belatedly. Sorry Lori.
I don't very often log on I tend to have a read and log on every now and then, so I'm guilty of not thanking many posts. I will try to log on more and post my thanks. I will try harder, honest.
It's beacuse of all of the great posts on here that it's a lot easier to pay for my shopping at the moment. Shopping of £15.79 today and i only had to pay £7.56, I'm getting better and DH says he will uses mocs when I'm away. I hope he does.0 -
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to send me their clear copy of the CIF coupons, if so please pm me and i'll send you my e-mail address,
Many thanks xXx
I printed a CIF coupon from the first post last night. Used it today no problem. I might print the other one now and I give that one a go tomorrow.0 -
did it scan ok and did you make it smaller when you copied it?
It scanned fine. I used the printer option as multiple pages per sheet (2 pages per sheet) so it was jsut under half page size, a bit big I thought but it scanned fine. I'm going to do the next one smaller by setting it at 4 pages per sheet, it'll use use less ink for one voucher and if I'm feeling really economival I can then use the rest of the aper for another coupon or my shopping list. I'll let you know if that size scans ok.
Can anyone report successfully using smaller CIF mocs?0 -

Normally I do a main shop once a month and use about £10-£20 of mocs and a couple of other shops a month using anywhere between £5-£15 in mocs, obviously this is gonna have to change this month. So I am after as many tips and advice as possible (that you are willing to share) on how the best way to go about it. Obviously I need to do my shopping daily at least.
I have already looked at the magazine thread and if I am looking correctly I don't think there are any mags that are worth buying at the moment where mocs outweigh the cost of the mag. I know I will have to check the newspaper thread daily. Is there any coupons from newspapers that I should be aware of that can't be redeamed in Tescos?
I already spend too much time on here - somehow I get the feeling that I am gonna be spending even longer on here for the next few weeks lol! So any advice whatsoever - even on how best to organise things would be very much appreciated.
ps...of course there is a slight cost for printing the mocs and the cost of the paper, but for most mocs it's not all that much, pence per coupon methinks...
I used to shop once maybe twice a week max...now it's whenever I have a spare half hour..nearest Tesco about 1.5 miles away , so no great hardship for me to pop in most days...money saved with mocs gone up from £5-£10 a week to £25 to £50....if you use most of the internet printed ones on the first page every day for 7 days you can get at least £35 worth of shopping...hope this helps....this site is the best for learning how to maximise your moc spend...I've read EVERY post on here...and believe you me that's the only way you will ever learn...I'm in awe of quite a few of the wonderful peeps on here...my savings pale into insignificance compared to theirs...but I'm so happy at what they have all helped me achieve...
Good luck...
you could also buy a Pikapak and cut the coupons off and add those to your bundle..although you get £2 worth only £1.75 are differnent and I do believe some have only £1.50 of different ones ( remember you can only use 1 of each without buyin the product, but you will still have the other 25p/50p to use another time)...if your Tesco still has some Best left...use mocs to buy 2 Bests and 1 x Pikapak...right thats using £2.93 worth of printed mocs....but you get £3.60 worth of mocs with those items....and they have only cost you pence to print, already you have £3.60 worth on m/facturers coupons to add to your £5 internet( that you will print again) and hey presto...you have £8.60 to spend....hope you follow me!!!I do use 10 words when maybe 2 would have done , but I'm trying to help you get the message...0 -
Hi All,
Sorry if I am repeating other posts but £1.00 off westland coupons, can we use them in Mr T's? I feel a little bad as I have just used some for my wine in Mr T's and now I am worried if the young should not have taken it, I don't want him to get into trouble. Anyone else using them in T's.0 -

I can't speak for anyone elses tesco but the 3 local to me sell other westland products but don't sell the product thats on the coupons so I don't use them.september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
march wins - dog treats0 -
Don't think about the cost of the mag against the coupon content...take this weeks Best for example...mag costs 87p mocs 80p...if you print off the 2 different Cif's and a Cow and Gate, add a Bacofoil from pigsback you have £1.70 towards a cost of £1.74...but you haven't really used up £1.70 worth of mocs , 'cos you can print them again , and again...so go to 1 Tesco and get the mags...then to another with the same mocs + the ones from the 2 Bests....voila...you've already got £3.30 to spend....do this with other mags or newspapers using mocs to pay for 'em and your printing money....

Thanks Bully that really helps. I already buy the Pikapaks (thanks again to whoever originally posted it on here) I buy usually 4-6 packs each time I go (store has a bulk purchase policy of 6 packs of anything). But the info re the magazine costs etc really helps as I hadn't thought of it that way - so thanks for that :T
Unfortunately I only really have 1 store that I can use coupons in, but usually they will take most coupons - the only restrictions are that they won't manually type barcodes in (but this does depend on the SA). The only other store used to take proper manufacturers coupons and internet coupons providing they had the safe tick, but the other day they said they aren't taking any coupons whatsoever at the momentbut at least I have 1 store that is very coupon friendly.
