You just want to have your store's assurance that they all know the policy on these, as the store didn't know last time.'
Thanks for that C-M, I take it I've no need to do this in my store as you will have already done it?!:rotfl:
All done and dusted at our two main locals last Summer, CG! Not saying it won't be a chore again though, they will have forgotten they are OK by now and some cashiers will try refusing them, I'm certain.
The really funny thing was that 'our' nearest store was really bad at accepting them throughout the time the last lot of Morrisons fivers were valid (August 2008). You know what they can be like in there CG! Every other cashier said no - so I had to keep insisting, getting a Supervisor, showing the policy and stamping my foot a bit...all were accepted in the end but it was a real rigmarole.
But then, 3 weeks after the expiry of them, that store proudly put up a new banner 'We accept Morrisons Spend & save vouchers'!! And they kept that banner up for 3 months, during which time there were no Morrisons spend & save vouchers issued anywhere!:rotfl:
'I like your new banner' I said pointedly to the worst Supervisor I had had a recent 'run in' with over these vouchers. I got a grimace as a reply. Laugh, I nearly dropped my coupons! :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As a footie fan who is old enough to remember Hillsborough all too well, I totally understand your hatred of the Sun.
If I were a Liverpool fan I would have boycotted the Sun as well, kathie. Their headlines in the aftermath of the tragedy were completely despicable, unforgiveable lies about the fans being at fault/robbers/anything the Sun fancied saying about them at the time.
RIP the Hillsborough victims.
P.S. Back on the topic of coupons, someone asked for the thread showing 'products with coupons'. It's here (worth bookmarking, as it can be hard to find):

You have to say why you did/didn't like the sauce....
Purchase may be necessary but it says that the code is on the neck of bottle so those with notebooks (Sher!;)) maybe can get a load and share with us who haven't got the 'bottle' to do that
Okay, I've got some codes! I actually bought 3 jars (it's on sale for 81p). From Tomato & Chargrilled Vegetables = 9114, from Tomato & Roasted Garlic = 9112R (don't know if you need to put in the "R" but that's how the code reads) and from Tomato & Wild Mushroom = 9111. Good luck to everyone that enters, hope you get a coupon too!!Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
