And great result, he took 32 coupons, most of them internet
32!!!!! i feel all nervous handing over 5!!!!! I don't know what they would do in my T's if i handed over 32!! i don't know if i would dare do it, :rotfl::rotfl: what is the average everyone else hands over at one time??[/QUOTE]
At the moment I try to spend £30 per day. I pay almost all of it in mocs, usually getting it to under 50p (my store are OK with this and all the mocs are in date and different). I don't get nervous in my local stores but would do in a strange Tesco, in case they don't know the policy and I have to argue it.
I use about 35-40 different mocs each time to achieve this at the mo. Like others, I really stock up when there are mocs in a paper or magazine, for instance I still have a few £1.95 Spectator mocs from last week's Telegraph. I bought enough to use one per day until expiry.
I also have the free FT £2 mocs and some £2 Huggies and other £1 mocs I swapped for on paid to shop. Along with the notorious Morrisons fiver these help to get the total down quicker.
But I still have to include some 20p-50p mocs as well, including the prolific 40p Comfort (from clothing shops) and 30p Pilgrims Choice (from an old Tesco magazine, I got quite a few of them and they run out next week!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Great success today.
I have a Tesco express in my village and a good while ago the lovely lady on the till said she had got into trouble taking my vouchers as they were not ment to by order of head office.
Today i only wanted a few things as we are going away for a few days, so needed to go here instead of a big tesco.
I asked her about the Sun/Morrisons vouchers and gave her my letter from Head Office when a main tesco wouldnt take my voucher last week and I got the £5 refund from HO. She went out back and left the store manager to phone HO. He came back and said yes it was fine. I then showed him the policy from page 1 here and asked if he was happy for me to use other coupons as my SA was in trouble last time. He read it and said yes its fine, he also said he had been a manager fro 4 years and was unaware this was Tesco policy.
So it looks like from now on I will be OK in my little express store!!
£38.33 shop, £24.53 in 33 coupons, £13.80 to pay.
I gave my nice SA a spare £5 Morrisons voucher that needed to be used by Sunday as I will be away.0 -
