Coupon Girl is off on holiday now,
Well Done Coupon Girl!:T:T:T
Let people know the whole story, and then let them decide whether they still want to use it, is what I say.
Thanks for your support VC, and for highlighting the issue on this thread.“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0 -

Aww. Bless your late Mum, CW.
When I was a little tiny C J, there was a crazy old lady in the town where I grew up who used to have an old beaten-up Silver Cross pram which she used as her trolley-on-wheels for her daily shopping. She used to create havoc in Sainsbury's in the High Street. When I am old, I want to get one of those to go shopping with.0 -

If you receive an email from The Department of Health telling you not to eat tinned pork. Ignore it.
IT'S JUST SPAM

Thanks for your kind words C.J. My mum died years ago but I still miss her.
I wouldn't mind joining you, I can just see myself pushing an old pram around with shopping in it.
The only problem is I am lethal with a shopping trolley never mind a pram. I am terrible for bumping into things, I can walk down an aisle at Tesco and be so busy looking for special offers or coupons I bump into concrete posts, or even people. I am always having to apologise to people.
I pushed my shopping trolley into a huge concrete post outside Tesco the other day, I cannot believe I did not notice it, but I was too busy talking to my son. Talk about embarrassed.
Think I need one of those warning sirens on my trolley, you know the ones, they say "vehicle reversing". Mine needs to say "watch out coupon woman about".

Daughter Number Two made me go into Primark today to buy her some white tennis type daps for £2. There at the till was a 'normous pile of MOCs for 25p off Tate & Lyle half spoon sugar, with a nice long use-by date on them.
Me : "Oh. May I take a couple of those?"
Bored shop assistant : "Yeah, help yourself. We've got stacks of them"
Me (gleefully shovelling them into large handbag) : "Thank you!"
So for £2 daps I seem to have acquired £10 (or possibly more) in MOCs.
Ahhh CJ has given her locality away. "Daps" is quite a local term. Me guesses SwindonAKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©

Back from Whitby OMG THE TRAFFIC:mad: SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 1 & 1/2 hrs to get there took 2 &1/2 another 40mins to get in the car park and 30mins to get out:mad:
Had some nice fish and chips, sorry again to the several people with bruised ankles I clipped with the pram, but to be fair you walk too slow;).
Nice time apart from the journey in a hot car with a little whinger! (my mother not the baby:rotfl:)AKA: PC
