Im getting slightly peeeee'd off with an old dragon (deb) at my local Tesco's in Shrewsbury, whenever i go with coupons she says comments like... 'we are stopping coupons soon' 'do you realise you are holding the people up behind you' 'where did you get these from' 'have you used these before' 'we cant accept these' shes very rude and stroppy and if i was a woman id be tempted to slap the trout.... all the other assistants are fine, its just her, do i write a complaint or just take it on the chin and smile?

Slapped Trout? Boiled would be far better. Just smile sweetly at her, thank her very much for being so helpful. Go to customer services and ask to fill in a values reward slip. You can put all your comments on this slip, hand it back. Don't know if it would go higher up, but I'm sure it will make you feel a whole lot better.
It does really pee me off when S.A's are like that. Gives us guddens a bad name.

the worst i've had is sa's rolling their eyes at me. makes me feel quite embarrased actually but i try to ignore it. most sa's are really nice and some say "oh, what a good bargain".

If they roll their eyes at you, just roll them back!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well done lemonjuice. Not only have you got loads of cheap shopping, I bet you had a great buzz doing it.;) Bet you never had so many mixed feelings whilst shopping, anticipation, excitement, embarassment, joy, to name just a few all in a short period of time. I find that the joy of getting cheap shopping far outweighs the hassle and upset you feel when you get turned down.:D

Happy holidays to everybody, hoping to stay up and go to a car boot (guess what I'll be selling!)

I haven't worked out how to quote more than one post in a reply, so this message also applies to thelurch, post 1050

    Thanks guys. :T
I can see how it can get addictive. Did a little shop on Sunday, only intended to get papers but couldn't help myself.

If you have to shop anyway, and haven't got much money it's definitely worth doing, even though sometimes the setbacks can make make you feel really bad. I'd rather spend a few extra hours a week shopping and using coupons than working in a shop.

As someone who normally hates shopping, I'm beginning to understand retail therapy.

    Have now added aforementioned quote:

Reading your post, I first thought you were talking about 1 shop!

Well done, it gets kind of addictive, especially in these recent coupon droughts we've been having recently

A lifetime ban is OUTRAGEOUS! How do the SAs know it's you? Are they issued with your photos and details?

Had a similar dilemna to djrich and was not sure whether to bother contacting CS. As I had read a few comments on here previously where people got a good result I thought it was worth a go. I phoned CS to ask what their coupon policy was after one refused to accept any and another would only accept 10%. Absolutely no help whatsoever, I wish I hadn't bothered!!! Officious young male trout checked with both stores, then told me it was entirely at their discretion. They had obviously identified me so I thought I had better not go back for a while.

Next day, had to redeem a largish coupon as it was expiring and nice SA took it no problem. Feeling braver, went back next day and very nice SA let me use 3 coupons to pay for most of my shop.

So I think it's best to take advice from here as to what the policy is and don't believe it if SA says the policy isn't what is should be. If you can't get their mistake rectified in the store at the time then try again on another day or in another shop.

On the other hand, if we all complained every time, would we all be banned?:rotfl:

anyone having problem with the dove coupons?

I cant seem to register up (or it doesnt accept the registration)

Yes, I am having the same problem. It keeps looping back to the original page to sign up. Has anyone emailed/phoned them yet to let them know their site is stuck in a loop? If not then I will. I hate flash sites, they are very temperamental!!
