    I wonder if it would be "neater" and easier to manage if I were to pool all these together into ne fund, but then am I putting all my eggs in one basket??

    maybe, maybe not. Problem is that providers will not accept transfers from defined benefit schemes without an IFA signing off on it first. Thats because of the statistically high chance that leaving it is the best option. That doesnt mean it will be for you but the FSA take the view (which the repeated last year) that they will treat final salary scheme transfers as mis-sales as the default unless proven otherwise. This included direct offer and execution only sales.
