Long term battery Discounts

Anyone who uses gadgets like me will know that many of them eat AA and AAA batteries.

I have found a site called http://www.battery-force.co.uk that offers long term discounts. Although there is a p & p charge, if you buy in bulk as I do, say 8 pkts of 4 aa batteries this is more than offset by the discount. (works out at £22)
Plus you will get a 5% discount voucher with your first and subsequent orders

Examples of prices

4 x Duracell AA M3 2.29
4 x Duracell AA Standard 1.99

If performance is not your main concern, Other batteries are available at cheaper prices....for example their own brand

4 x Battery force AA 0.99

There are also some larger packs that offer greater discounts. They also stock panasonic and energizer as well as rechargables

Service is excellent, the batteries are usually sent same day, if order made in the morning by first class mail.

For the last three years I have been buying alkaline batteries of the SKY and MEMOREX brand for 99p from Netto. This means the following blister packs

    4 x AA
    4 x AAA
    2 x c
    2 x D
    1 x pp9

Unless you are hooked on Duracell there are much better bargains out there.

E.g. If you have an IKEA near you they tend to sell packs of 10 Akaline batteries even cheaper.

I've had my say - it's up to you to make your choice.

I use the Kirkland AA alkalkine batteries from Costco. There are 48 in the pack and it is less than £9, and they last as long, if not longer, than the Duracell ones.
