I have just wached Beat the Bailiff tv 'show'. I think it doesn't give people the full picture in dealing with Bailiffs and sorting out debts.
What is your opinion about the show?

the guy on yesterday had £100k of debt and his inital attitude was 'well, the cc compaines insure themselves against debt so why should he pay it'!

I didnt realise it was back on. I love it although can be a bit scary to think that could happen.
I do agree with you though scary cat, they dont seem to help the people sort them selves out.
There is a better one from america its called til de$t do us part. Thats really good as the woman gives them challenges and looks at the stress in the family etc.
Some people are just plain silly and live off credit not looking at the bigger picture.0 -

i thought Lorne was quite rude to the couple yesterday (Jamie and Michelle) saying they wasted their money on a wedding. Okay maybe it was a trifle expensive but it seemed to me that Lorne regards weddings as a total waste of money and it's not for her to make that sort of judgement on people. She also commented on the amount spent on driving lessons. well, lessons are expensive and if yuou don't take to it lke some people you will spend a lot. Just the way it is Lorne.
She was also misleading when she said that in bankruptcy they would take all their assets which is simply not true.0 -
