Maytag American Fridge Freezer

Hello

Was looking to spend £800 on a new FF, and was going to buy a black glass samsung as it goes with our new scheme. However after reading reviews on here I am very sceptical of samsung and so thought I would try a Maytag. Have found a cheap one (ie less than £1,000), but was just wondering if it is any good- it is MC2028HXKB in Black.

Am wondering why it is so much cheaper than other Maytag's? Does that mean it is no better than the Samsung?

Any advice would be much appreciated

We have a Maytag like a few of our frens and.......... personally they look a lot larger than they really are especially the freezers.

If you buy one with a water/ice dispenser the size of the freezer is compromised.

Finally both the water and the ice take on a peculiar taste after a short while and you can never clean out the ice bowl within the freezer.
