Tesco On-line Shopping Refund Warning

About a year ago now I checked my bank account and realised that Tesco had not been refunding me any substitions that I had not accepted. I also had a few quality issues at around the same time and once again the refunds had not been put back into my account. As Tescos systems apparently only go back 6 weeks (yes I know I should check regularly!) it was impossible to see how much money I had missed out on and after much agro and many phone calls on my behalf Tescos credited me back a weeks shopping (about £100) as a gesture of goodwill!

Once again I have realised that Tescos are once again not refunding me for substitutions sent back to store and for any unacceptable items. So once again my battle begins to get my money back.

So just to say please check that any money that Tesco owe you back is actually going back into your bank account and not adding to Tesco's profits.

Please be especially careful if your shopping is delivered from the Croydon warehouse-Although I live in SE London/Kent borders this is where mine comes from!

We've refused a couple of substitutions over the last couple of weeks, and all have been refunded. We got an email a few days later stating this (although haven't checked them on our Credit Card bill)
