Have just found this thread and feel that it so fits my situation. It is the realisation that I don't want our kids to grow up thinking everything can be bought on credit that has made me get my act together. We suffer with the same 'my friend got this, that and the other for Christmas' but our kids have to admit that we do far more together as a family than their friends do and I think they appreciate that.
So looking forward to having paid off the debt so we can proudly save up for things! and demonstrate that to the kids!!** Official DFW Nerd Club Member 009**
