i think youll find their bluffing to scare you, you dont have to let them in.
have they got a court order.0 -
Hi
Thanks for the advice.
I called them and they said they could offer a 30% reduction on the debt. Did i want to take it up now. I said no because i was disbuting the amount of the debt. She said she would hold the offer open for me for 7 days!
Could take it then disbute the amount with the cc company later?
no they do not have a court order.

can i ask why your disbuting it, did you sign a credit agreement if you did theres not much you can do.
also if you dont pay it will affect your credit rating.
if the debts been sold on you have to deal with the debt collecots rather than the original creditor, i have always found debt collectors to be more helpful in stopping interest and accepting payment plans because they buy the debts for peanuts so any money they make is a bonus.0 -
hi
i am disbuting the charges that are more than the actual debt, i have been doing this with the help of the thread on here, and until i have a reply am not going to budge!
i only got the default because of these charges anyway which i feel is really unfair as i wrote to them about my circumstances at the time! (my tax credits were stopped leaving me with virtually no income)
Hopefully they will see sense

yes ignore these silly cards about a visit think about it, if you were going to call on some one about a debt would you tell them your coming ?and have the risk they will definatly make sure there out ,becouse you said your coming,,,all bluff and waffle ,if they have sold the debt tell them you dispute the debt and why and if it can not be sorted tell them you will see them in court and argue your case there ,your credit rating is dammaged already so id ignore and not worry about your credit rateing0

You should read the UK part of the http://www.paypalsucks.com/ website, the morons send out the Mr Brown postcard to everyone followed by a letter made to look like a soliciters firm but it is from NCO as well, they never show up and always try to get you to pay up 50-75%, the advice seems to be dispute the claim and NCO will stop caling and leave you alone, the chargeback scam on ebay is an international rip off and Paypal never come down on the side of the seller, close your Paypal account and never touch it again, no one on the http://www.paypalsucks.com/ UK forums has even been taken to court or had a credit score problem, have a read it may put your mind at rest.0
