Two wins today to brighten a really bad day

So, the first thing that happens this morning is that mr kateab discovers that something has killed all 3 chickens that we had living in our garden and then we had to tell the children they had gone to heaven (we told them a fox pinched them like Swiper on Dora and they seemed to understand that). I have to say that I was more upset than the children - daughter in particular seemed pleased because she was scared of them and promptly went out to reclaim the garden! Son wants "boy chickens" next time but doesn't seem to realise they don't lay eggs. 
Then I find a WEM saying I'd won a £20 voucher to spend on the Vegetarian online shop, which appears to have been posted by KittyPryde so thanks!
The post arrived at lunch time and the CeWe photobook I won a week or so back turned up and it's brilliant.
I take the children out and come home to ANOTHER WEM saying I'd won an Onken breakfast hamper on the bbcgoodfood website (which is good, cos I subscribe for a change!) so thanks to darcy13 for that one.
And then, my team got knocked out of the play-offs. I tell ya, guys and gals, it's been a rollercoaster day. Never had two wins in one day before tho!
