Hi everyone!

Looking for a bit of advice please. My husband and a friend are hoping to put up a new garden fence for us! I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to the best place to buy materials? We are on a bit of a budget, but don't want to get cheap materials that will get damaged in the first gale!!

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you!!

Hi goldspanners, thanks for your reply. We are in North Lanarkshire. Thinking of trying out Wickes, never been there before but was recommended to us. Any other suggestions you have would be most welcome. Thanks again.

If you are in Glasgow, try east end sawmills - now based over near Shawfield Stadium. Very good value for money, lots cheaper than B&Q. They have a website, quick google of their name will come up with it.

try thornbridge sawmill in motherwell, it behind b&q or also amara timber on park street in motherwell.
