I have a single bed, want to buy a duvet cover, does anyone know if I can get a cover in the US that will fit a UK single bed?

thanks

I suspect it will be too big - I've never seen single sized bed linen in the US - there is a sort of comparison here for US/Uk bed sizes

You can definitely buy single sized bed linen in the US. It is called twin bedding. The US size chart I have gives the following measurements:
    Bed Size - Twin
    Mattress Size - 39" x 75"
    Comforter Size - 68" x 86"
    Bedspread Size - 80" x 110"
    Blanket Size - 66" x 90"
    Pillow Size - 20" x 26"
