Just thought i would write this post,if anything as a cautionary tale to people in debt.I am separating after 17 years of marriage, and one of the main issues for us has been different attitudes regarding money.
I know others will have similar stories to mine.
When we finally sell our house,i will have nothing to show for it,as our mortgage is so big because of debts.
But i will be free of debt,me and my husband were completley wired differently when it came to money.
So please be careful and sensible, especially newly weds,be honest with each other, and work together,it really will make all the difference.

Obstacles are things a person sees when he takes his eyes off his goal.

Hey tango
I am sorry to see you are going through separation. Hope it's as painless as possible - hard, I know.
