That sounds quite nice! Sometimes we have saute potatoes or mini roasts.

Often in greasy spoons they serve liver/bacon with chips.

    Enjoy!

I'd prefer to have roast potatoes with it! And I don't like liver much either... But yeah, as long as you like it, it's a great meal!

    Hope you enjoy it!

I absolutely LOVE liver and bacon. No one in my family likes it so I usually have it if we go to a pub for a meal, if it's on the menu.
Have to say though, has to be mash for me, every time.

Oooooo, I really want some now....

Why not put the liver and onions in a casserole dish and slices of potatoes on the top. Like a Lancashire hotpot. Crunchy potatoes on the top and softer slices underneath.

Love liver - had stir fry with lambs liver and noodles tonight for tea. And it's so good for you too.

Can't bear 'school dinner' liver though.

I'm a big liver fan but always with mash and always fried with onions and a big dash of wine vinegar and butter.

Mash is traditional, but I respect his right to be different.

I like it with crispy potatoes of some kind - sauted or a potato pancake made with grated potato, carrot, held together with some egg & flour & milk. It's also nice with brown rice (but not white).
