kennels? or make a farm ride for people with their own horses with optional jumps, we pay £10 to go round one.November £10 a day challenge. Im starting early- 66p so far!0

A friend of ours rents out their barn for weddings etc. Of course, the barn has been redone inside and is a fantastic location to do the reception. Their gardens are lovely for pictures and civil ceremonies. She also does the catering for the weddings held there, and is usually booked solid throughout the summer and doesn't do any catering from September to February.0

What about bee keeping?
They could sell the honey in the farm shop plus they would be helping to save our bees.
Growing flowers and or plants? selling the to either local flower shop or nursery, farm shop or in bunches by the roadside of the farm???I'm an MSE SLACKER!!!! Slap my bum.

if any of your fields are near a main road/motorway you could rent them for advertising space, you know them giant billboards0

Maybe approach the local council and see if they need space for storage of anything really, saw in the paper ages ago a farmer was getting £1000 a week to let his local council store empty wheely bins on his land.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Have you looked into doing the environmental stewardship schemes?? Info on here: www.naturalengland.org.uk
Also dont forget you'll have to apply for planning permission if land is no longer used for agricultural purposes.0
