What to do...

Westcott are sending increasingly more desperate letters, the latest said that they have arranged a 25% discount settlement for cash if I cough up £10K+ Well as I don't have that anyway its a bit academic. Now here is my quandary. I'm moving out of my house on the16th May to a new address. I've never spoken to Westcott so they do not know if their letters are getting to me. Do I do a disappearing act and wait for them to find me again or what? Mind you if I get made BR on the 1st June then its all over anyway.

In my humble opinion, Id hang on until June 1st. Get everything done above board so to speak, no come backs and then you can start a fresh!

I think I'll keep my head down and see what happens on the 1st June.

Why on earth would you want to give Wescott your new address ;)

Hi MM . I personally would not get into any dialogue with Westcott. As you say its acedemic anyway after 1st June.

    Hang on in there,

I agree why would you want to give Westcott your new address, you would be inviting trouble. if you must get your post re-directed, its working well for me.

    hi

i agree, when we moved we just had our post redirected, all our creditors thought we still lived at our original address, we even went ex-directory with our phone number, even when we went bankrupt, we listed the address and all of our debt related to that address.

I also agree, no need to give any creditor your new address.
