Cash Account At Builders Merchant

Hello all,

Hope you are well, especially the march mad hares group,

I am trying to get back on track now and trying to do some building work if i can get some. Am i allowed to get a cash trade card at a well known builders merchants for materials while bankrupt?

    Not sure what you mean by cash trade card. If your paying at the time or order no problem.
    If your opening one of the credit accounts where you pay at the end of the month you will have to inform them of your BR status if you are getting credit over £500.

    Sorry, i did not really explain it too well did i (no wonder i am a builder lol) it is a card, no credit but if you get one you do get a good discount.

    It sounds like a loyalty card or something similar. I have one for an electrical wholesaler so I get better discount than the public. You still pay for the materials when you order them, the same as you would in a normal store.
