Skechers

Hello all, although I'm new to posting on the site I am a regular lurker but today I'm facing a shopping conundrum.

I am not a typical girl, I hate shopping and only go when I really need to and always run in and out as fast as I can because the whole experience is tedious to me.

But I need some shoes and tesco don't have any suited to my needs.

I am looking for a skechers type shoe, comfortable for walking around in all day, possibly running to catch planes trains and buses in, but also pretty enough to wear with summer skirts/dresses. Basically I am going abroad and have v limited luggage restrictions so need something I can wear all the time)

I have seen some gorgeous ones on the skechers website and scoured the internet looking for discount sites to buy from but its impossible! The cheapest I can find are still around £30 and I am really trying to budget at the moment and don't want to spend too much.

Am I asking too much or does someone have some information on cheap websites/shops or even cheaper alternative shoes?

Any advice v much appreciated

Definately try TK Maxx, I'm not-your-typical girl either, and I don't go for brand names. However, the Skechers I've had have lasted for yonks, and they were a TK Maxx job.

If your going for comfort and trainer style, go for something from either TK Maxx or Sports Direct.

Personally I don't think you can get more comfortable then Nike Air or Nike Rift the 'turtle-style' trainers with the toe socks (though the latter are rarely reduced).

Asics are also top for comfort (very cushioned) but they only start to get pretty when you go higher up the price range. They start from about £25 in Sports Direct.

Some people also swear by converse and Vans, personally, I can't find these comfortable, but are fairly cheap and come in many different styles. Start from about £30. -But cannot for the life of me say who sells them!

If your willing to hold off a little bit longer, you could find JD sports and all the others go into sale- I have no idea when their sale dates are but it has been ages since they last had their proper sale.

For Sketchers, I have to say I don't know who sells them apart from the Sketchers stores in London and the internet, and so don't know of any codes or vouchers for them. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Barratts sell skechers and usually have discounts online - there are usually discount codes kicking around as well.

go to barrats or schuh and find the ones you want, try on for size and then get the name of them.

littlewoods sell them and if you're a new customer you can get good discount codes!

I'm doing this at the moment!
