has anyone used preserved flowers for wedding deco

I found these gorgeous preserved purple orchids and wondered if anyone had used preserved flowers in their wedding at all.I think I could use these to decorate the cake,table,my hair etc but wonder if they are brittle or soft?Does anyone know?

I haven't used or seen them but I'd imagine that they'd be more brittle?

Heres a link to them.I was looking for something entirely different when I stumbled across these.Its an overseas website so you would have to use a shipping diversion company as they dont ship to U.K.
