Pap, what % stuff do you need to know?

To work out one number as a percent of another, divide the first by the second and times by 100. Does that help?

If not, let us know what you need to work out and we'll try to point you in the right direction hun.

I was just debating cheese on toast for my two and wondering if that made me a bad mother! Now I feel okay about it too. :D :T

  • I think I now officially have a 'lucky top'.

Ok, I'll explain before you think I've gone mad(der). :D The top I'm wearing right now is a black v-neck with a row of black bunches down it. I found it at the bottom of my tops drawer two weeks ago. The first time I wore it, a guy carried my bag back to Victoria coach station and the coach driver was very helpful and flirted with me. He was about 50 but still, the confidence was great. :D

Today, I went to the bank and paid a cheque into one of those self-service machines. It didn't give me a receipt so I asked one of the assistants (male, again) when it would clear. He took me into a side room to find out and started going through my account. All the MB I've been doing lately popped up and I got really embarrassed and started playing with my hair. Now I don't know if the guy thought I was flirting with him but he then offered me a 0% c/c! Which wouldn't be any good for b/t from the same bank but I could b/t from my other card. Unfortunately, it came up as declined. But strangely, because of 'lending policy' (read 'she's a student, no chance') and not my credit rating. So I'll try again over the summer when I'm working part-time.

So yeah, I think this top must be lucky. Probably because 'the girls' are on show. :D

I bought this mahooosive tiger bread loaf thingy from Morrisons the other day and the whole family had doorstep slabs of bread with butter and honey for tea... we did habe fish pie and veg for lunch so I felt it was ok....

well, that's my rationalisation and i'm sticking to it.

I'm totally going way off topic now and I apologise for it, but did anyone else hear on the news about the old lady who survived the titanic having to sell her memorabilia to pay for her care fees? Sheesh, what is this world coming to?

sounds like a very lucky top Kayleigh!!

Pah Bunny, if you had fish pie and veg for lunch there is nothing wrong with toast for tea...DD hasn't had hot meal today and I feel bad, but to be honest I would cook something nice and she would refuse to eat it anyway so at least she is eating something I guess!
