I want to buy a pre-engagement 'promise' ring

Hi Everyone
I want to buy a pre-engagement 'promise' ring. I've read on WIKI that they are often sterling silver with a heart on them.
Any suggestions for where I might be able to buy as top a quality ring as possible for as low a price as possible would be really appreciated!
It would be amazing if there was one with a diamond in it for a knock-down price!
Thanks in advance, and I hope you all have a terrific week with plenty of smiles and laughs.

Im not being rude here or dissing anyone elses suggestions so please dont think I am but be careful before you buy a claddagh ring. Some women dont like these so if you are at all unsure or if your partner likes quite simple jewellery I would be inclined to buy something very basic instead. I think the thought is lovely but it would be a shame to perhaps get something that your partner isnt too keen on and some of these rings have quite a bit of detail on them which can make them look quite harsh. Its a really lovely thing to do so good luck. Again, I hope I havent offended anyone, just think you need to be sure before you buy something thats quite intricate.0

If you lived in the States then there is quite simply a bewildering choice at very good value (eg js-jewelers.com ) but one of them now specialises in sending to the UK.
If you visit overstock.com and do a search for 'promise ring' you should be able to find gold, silver (and yes, diamond) promise rings.
Good luck!
(sorry I can't post direct links - am too 'new'!)
