Just a quick pop in to say that today turned to custard when I got unexpectedly called in to work this morning.
I had a rather long list of which only this has been done:
Dogs walked
Dogs food containers refilled
Dinner sorted (extra meatloaf I cooked yesterday . . . )
Been to budget meeting
Yesterdays washing folded off the airer - not yet put away.
I'm hoping that I don't get called in tomorrow because I have so much to catch up on.
Will check in in the morning with my list for the day

Hi All
Yes Im ok. Was very tired and emotionally drained yesterday. So went to bed, caught up on 24 and read some more of my book. Im exhausted this morning, but have put a layer of make up and a brave face on it, so I am fine.
He emailed me a few more times yesterday and explained some things to me that I wasnt aware of. Things that I should have known but he hadnt told me and shut me out. All we were doing was arguing so we never discussed things we should have been discussing if that makes sense.
Anyway, Ive acknowledged that I have a better understanding of the situation but have made it clear that my opinion on the state of our relationship hasnt changed. If he hadnt shut me out in the first place none of this would have happened.
He called me at home last night and asked if I would ever take him back or forgive him for how he has behaved. I stuck to my guns, and told him under no circumstances would I continue the way we had been, but I also didnt burn the bridges either and told him that he would have to make it right and it was my-way or the high-way.
I didnt want to talk anymore so we left it at that.......
Ive no flying to report....... except dailies and I havent even done all of those! Last nights dishes are still in the sink....... xxx
Love n hugs to all xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Well done Jo, you have done really well. It's up to him now to make the choice, sounds like he really wants to get back with you, so let's hope he does it properly if you want him back. Good that you are talking anyway and that he's opened up to you.

Off to the dentist now, feeling somewhat shakey so if anybody fancies having a break at 11:45 and doing some virtual hand holding then I'd much appreciate it!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
