RAC renewal through Quidco

My RAC renewal is due and I bought it through Quidco last year. Can I cancel it then buy another through Quidco for the cashback? Anyone else done this?

    Hi Ellerose,

I don't think RAC would validate the cashback as you wouldn't technically be a new customer.

However, I've just cancelled my RAC membership and gone with the AA for less as they are offering new customer deals which obviously I'm not entitled to with the RAC. Got £40 from Quidco for doing that too.

Next year I intend to go back to the RAC and make the most of their new customer offer and so on and so on. Time to play them at their own game! :j

Sorry, I cannot answer your question either, but I renew my membership every year with the Tesco Clubcard Deals vouchers. Just thought I'd mention it in case you are a Tesco shopper anyway.

I have swapped back and forth between the RAC and the AA for the past 3 years. No problems with getting the cashback. I only ever had to use the cover once and I think it was the best £8 I ever spent!

Have you gone through martins insurance guide to saving money? if you do it in the order he says i note the top 3 on each comparison site with the amount and site on a note pad.
Then go to cash back sites and compare again with cash back included for the cover i want and i have saved hundreds of pounds a year for buildings& contents (worked out at 120 combined this year) and car insurance.
