Want to buy my first house

Hi

I am looking to get a FTB Mortgage and would love to get a house for around £150,000.

Would there be any chance of getting to this figure.

I have a 20k deposit, no debts or loans, just pay rent a month.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    Depends on your annual salary...

    You can get a 90% LTV mortgage from someone like HSBC (4.99%) or Natwest (5.99%)

    The multiples of salary are btween 3 and 4x your basic....

    So if your salary multiplies to the 120000 - 125000 figure there your good to go!

    Salary is 24k, with bonuses of about £2,000 a year.

    hmmmm, yeah you might struggle to get them to give you enough...

    Be worth ringing up and finding out though.

    Im on a similar basic to you and HSBC would only give me £100k

    If you get any results post it on here because I'm in a very similar situation to you with regards to house prices interested in and salary on so would be good to share what we find out.
