A couple of times a year they do VAT-free offers where everything is 17.5% cheaper - I bought oak flooring during one of those. I really can't remember when in the year they happen though. They advertise on Cool FM as I hear the ads in the car on my journey to work. Why don't you ring them and ask if they're having one soon.0

They've a 20% off sale on at the minute.0 -
Of course I'm being pedantic, but the VAT rate is currently 15%

They also tend to have end of line flooring at heavily discounted prices, you would need to be 100% sure there would be enough to do your job though before buying it.Norn Iron Club member No 3530

bought my flooring yesterday and they are doing free underlay with every floor bought..........the underlay is worth £19.99 per metre and i have to say its fantastic quality-has a layer of alu insulation over the foam, even my builder was impressed, lol.
my room is 26ft by 22ft.........that is a hell of a saving on underlay!!!!it takes more energy

Brilliant that its free.....but sorry to steal your thunder, is almost certainly not worth £19.99 per metre!
The bestest bestest silver foiled domestic laminate underlay on the UK market, TimberMate XL, costs around £2+vat per metre online, and.....
....A cheaper version, Comfort Silver, is a 3mm turquoise polyfoam with a silver foiled topping, costs around 66p+vat per square metre....
...So well done that it was free, but the saving is not as mega as you think!Profit=sanity

oh thats a really great price-i will keep hold of that info as we need a few more rooms done and it wont be for a while yet so that will come in handy! I agree that it wasnt worth that money to start with and i would have choosen the cheapest one had i been buying it but as it was free it saved me buying any so thats why i liked the deal so much, lol.

Hi. I priced at least a dozen places for granite wortops and the best was PM Fireplaces in Dungannon (don't be afraid to haggle, we got a good bit off that way). The next best seemed to be Mid-Ulster Granite in Lurgan.0
