Need Help/Advice BCW chasing me

Hi I need some advice. I was recentley contacted by BCW as I apparentley owe orange pcs a debt of £55.98 from March of 2006.
I contacted them by phone and they told me it was for a debt from when I had freeserve broadband. I asked for more information on the debt but the advisor was unable to help me.
I then received a fianal notice letter regarding the debt, to which I responded via recorded delivery with a letter stating that I did not acknowledge the debt, a letter found on these forums.
They replied stating they would foward the information as soon as they get it.
I have now recieved another letter saying they are preparing paperwork to take me to court.
What should I do?? Do they have to provide evidence of a contract between myself and freeserve to be able to challenge me in court?
Any help much appreciated.

Pls ignore the muppets. They are bunch of bullies. There are several threads and templates on this forum to guide.
Firstly they ought to provide you with proof of debt assignment to themselves and also a copy of credit agreement0 -
Im having the same problem, you should find plenty of good advice on this forum, their all realy helpfull.0

This is just bullying - they are not going to take court action for an unproven debt for £55!
Err................. Yep.
Nearly choked when I saw that.
Take to to court for £55? They are havin a laugh. :rolleyes:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

So should I ignore the letters?
I ask this because part of my employment contract states that getting a ccj can be grounds for dismissal, so I really do not want to end up going to court and losing, but would happy to go if they will lose because they have not sent me copies of the orginal agreement.
Also im a little confused, I cannot remember signing acredit agreement as it was for broadband, so I assume as theres no CA then they do not have to provide evidence of the debt? or am I wrong?0
