Hugs NNW, I just feel bad I had typed one number wrong and its ruined my mood, nothing compared to the worry you and your OH must be going through though. I think it's a really uncertain time for lots of people at the moment and so it gets me mad that the government are spending so much on expenses. I do hope he escapes redundancy or if not manages to find an even better job very soon after. x

Thanks everyone, sorry just deleted that bit I did not want to be a downer but yes a bit worried. Where he works, it takes them ages to move on (implement redundancy) so hopefully this will give him and his mates some time to find other jobs. There is a glimpse of hope they maybe re-interviewing them again but we will just see.
I hope he will find a better job in the meanwhile..

Good Luck NNW Oh, hopefully something better will come along. SIL oh went for a job interview as a packer recently as been made redundant, didn't really want job but better than nothing, while waiting for interview someone came in and asked if anyone had previous experience with a ? he said yes and got the better job with more money, so good things do happen.
Please don't worry ikkle you were good enough to post the answer.
thanks for all the hugs, going to pull myself together this week, this is the 4th and final week of feeling grotty, only 5 weeks till hols. Going to get housework up to date and catch up on comps, half way into the 31st so far today.

Thanks BenhamsLC, you are right, you never know there may be some good in that or they might just keep their jobs so I will try not to worry. I had to go through the same myself but was very lucky . It was not a pleasant feeling though seeing others lose their jobs...They cut down the number and increased our tasks!

I feel like I need the radiators on again :oaaaaaaaaaa when are we going to be able to use our sun creams ...I 've been waiting since last wet *summer*

This must be my 6th coffee today but I will make one more and get writing x
