Mcmconnell? Brill no didnt see post, glad you like it. Rural France is gorgeous, so are peeps, Not so Paris etc. Take a phrase book, read essentials B4 U go like, a room, a beer, directions, mark pages. If you try their language they are lovely even if you get it wrong, DH ordered a loaf of cement instead of a bag, and I had a curly horse instead of curly hair. Apologised to local farmer about the fog instead of DH noise renovating cutting through 12 inch walls, upsetting his milking cows , oops:o Years ago had Hol home there for 5 years in Normandy, Vire.

Lol Cistolic my maiden name is Grenyer ( dont know how to do the accents over the e) My dad was born and bread in Normandy and i grew up speaking both french and English so what i mean is that its a little embaressing when DH tries to take over ( coz he's the MAN of the house) and does this ridiculous French accent and very primative school boy french. a lot of my relatives live around Nantes but i want to do east france really :)

I taught him phonetic french alphabet first, then phrase book, he was amazing after a few months, sat in pub wi locals, Brill
