    Morning all!
Only 4 more hours at work left, then some days off.
I don't know which is worse, a really busy night like the last few, or a really slow night like tonight. It just seems to take for ever for the morning to come.

Ahh well. Might enter a few comps whilst I've got a lull.

    Morning all!!

My internet is being a cow this morning. How are we all? I woke up and thought I'd died so I worked even harder when I went for my run to try and sweat some of the toxins out. Now I'm eating an entire packet of digestives and drinking a detox tea. :)

morning all, thought I would get some comping in before getting beth ready for school.
we took the decision not to tell her about the death, it is sats week and trying to keep a calm household, we havent had a row all week, she even has had bacon sandwiches every day for breakfast.
I want her to do well, but its maths today and tomorrow, the subject she is capable in but lacks confidence.

Cathy, I think you're doing the right thing not to tell her while she's doing her SATs but don't leave it too long after that. She may resent it otherwise and also it means you can start to move on.

What you said about bacon sandwiches, it brings back memories of getting them before my exams too!!

We will tell her tomorrow evening, I just hope today goes ok with no arguments between the family members

I have been running around like a headless chicken all week as I have been at work, at least today and tomorrow I dont have to get dress etc.

If you want to avoid arguments, how about just you and her talk alone, say in her bedroom. If you don't want to leave DH out, maybe the 3 of you can have a little intimate dinner....and then celebrate the end of her exams too. I know it's easier said than done, all of this.

flick, its the adult members of the family that are all feuding, its going to be a nightmare, my mil doesnt get on with her brother and is not happy over the arrangements,
my mil is extremely high maintenance, even my hubbie admits that, she is refusing to go to the wake, which I think is a hugh mistake!
