I was looking to buy a Pentax Optio 750z as its a relatively small camera with a 5x optical zoom lens (which is hard to find on a small camera) and it takes SD/MMC cards and I have a 1gb mmc going spare

I very nearly bought one from pixmania for £260 until I saw Ebuyer had two in stock marked as "OPEN BOX"

There only £180.47 (with super saver delivery) which is a saving of £79.53 over the pixmania site. Ebuyer also have them brand new for £220.26 inc p+p (£39.79 more than open box)


If anyones after a bargain compact digi cam with a really nice zoom lens on it then here you go

how reliable are these open box cameras. It says:

has anyone ordered one of these and found it to be incomplete? what happens if the charger and cradle are missing? can you still send it back?

Yeah, without a doubt you can send it back if it arrives with missing parts that make it totally unusable i.e. the battery or charger.

Its a risk im prepared to take for the chance of a bargain, a lot of open box products are probably just missing manuals or the original box etc...

Try it and see, nothing to loose

thanks although is ebuyer any better thank savastore? i had a hell of a time trying to return stuff to them.. they just didnt want to know

Also i see there is only a warrenty of 90 days? This will surly be the ebuyer warrenty but could the manufacturers warrenty be challenged after this period?

Ebuyer are a little slow with returns i think but it gets done eventually. Got to rememeber they sell a hell of a lot of stuff so there returns / call centres are usually jammed.... but thats how they keep prices down

cheers mate it was the Casio EXILIM Zoom EX-Z750 i was after saw it after i viewed your camera been looking for one for ages; got it for £150 delivered saved £33 over new one so here hoping it all works out well.

I bought one of these under the exact same terms about 2 weeks ago and it arrived in perfect order, with everything it should have.

Excellent camera and I have had nearly every pentax camera there is!

just remembered about the 1GB SD card offer they have going on as well so scored one of them for £22 as well.... Qiute a productive day

Received my camera yesterday.

Everything present and correct, just one of the cables had been removed from its bag and put back in so it was damaged packaging. Im certainly not complaining for £40 off

Really nice camera too

Still one left in stock ......
