Oooooh two threads to follow :D

Am I still allowed to post all my ramblings in here? Sometimes my posts have nothing to do with being money neutral or christmas or anything? I shall try to be on topic as best I can ;)

So far I am definitely money neutral, not sure how much I have left to spend, got it on a spreadsheet though. I have a lot more stuff to get on ebay and I promise I will get round to doing that very soon!
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Just wanted to say I'm sorry if I caused any confusion with the name of my thread. It's just that the word moneysaving begins with M and I thought it went nice with Mel. I didn't want to take the name 'Thrifty Gifty' because Jammy invented it and I felt wrong to.

Money saving is about getting things we want as cheap as we can, bargain finds etc.. like boots sales and glitches. Money Neutral is about getting things you want for nothing by making money from nothing. I didn't think I was poaching or being offensive.

I hope your thread is really successful Jammy, its a completely different place to mine which is why you wanted to split in the first place. We used to be great friends.. sharing wedding tips and enjoying pm's. Nothing changed for me except we both got busy lives.

I'll keep popping in to see how you're all doing but you know how I suck at Money neutralising lol

Hi Mel, You are welcome any time to sharpen up your money neutral skills ;) and no one has said nuffin about names or anything 'cept I said we could have Thrifty Gifty Money Neutral and Thrifty Gifty Organised when I PM'd you last night. I really don't care what either of the threads are called though as long as the people keep posting and are happy with how it is and also that I actually dont end up skint for chrimble!!

Anyway, I think you are pretty good with your clubcard points aren't you? so that is definitely one step towards money neutral! :)

I joined up to bingoport but cant remember the website or my log in :s
I do the onepoll surveys everytime I log on my laptop and thats up to £20 and some already within id say 3months? so looking good for a pay out before Xmas
I have a lightspeed account but hardly ever fill the criteria for the polls so dont have much there.
But I think i need to join ebay and get a paypal account and start selling some bits on there for some money
Plus Ive discovered I have 2 copies of a few dvds and cds :S and im not sure when I bought the second copy let alone why
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

  • I have been very good today and started my list of things to sell on ebay :j

So far it says 'Things to sell on ebay'

    :rotfl:

Well in my humble opinion :o

I feel that it might get abit confussing. I am not talking about today, or tomorrow. But if i was a new poster, i would have no idea what i was supposed to post where.

Maybe the idea of having a Thrifty Gifty Moneyneutral and Thrifty Gifty organised would work better ?

Having Money neutral to include money, saving, earning, beg, borrow or stealing :rotfl:.
Then having organised to include makes, bargains, buying and what you have done towards the event.

Without this the threads will not work and compliment each other which is what they were started to do ? Its so confussing at the moment as people are mentioning things on organised that are clearly what they are doing moneywise making this thread unused and that thread having everything on it including money neutral things

Might just be me but as i say i do find it terribly confussing :o
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D

    Hi girlies,

You don't mind me joining in do you??
I'm on bingoport, i seem to get up to 1000points and then fall back down to 200 points then it just keeps going like that, might just keep doing it on auto.
Saving my money for holiday but being money neutral with it as using nappy cake sales to fund my holiday money so am i being money neutral?? Or is that my thoughts??
    ..xx
I am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A

Sorry but I am going to have a little whinge ....

less than 2 weeks ago the question was asked about threads being seperated or kept together and from reading the posts the general opinions was to keep it all together in one thread like one big happy family.

Now I personally never used the old threads, I found them too confusing and only recently joined the one big conjoined thread which I loved and would never want to change it. You guys have helped me out a lot, you have been there for the rants about various things in life, you have helped support me in trying to reach Jammys challenge and you have also inspired me to do more surveys and manage to be organised in my DD's birthday pressies which cost me a total of approx £15 (well before I blew another £20 trying to ship one in from america due to not being available in the UK)

    Anyway my rant is ...

Why have 2 threads when it was working perfectly well as one thread?

I have to admit I now find it completely confusing and trying to catch up with the posts has been a nightmare! I have thanked each one but I really am confused and now feel like I don't belong in either.

Sorry if I have offended anyone, this wasn't my intention but I guess I should be saying goodbye ... I don't know where to post or what to post so it is often better not to post. Thankyou to you all and I guess I shall maybe see you on other parts of the forum. well that is unless they all change aswell then I shall just stop all together :rotfl:

Good luck with your various challenged everyone and I hope life treats you all well :) you are a lovely bunch of people :) xxx

P.S I have posted this on the other thread aswell :p
