I had forgotten about the Music Magpie lol. I sent the cds off last week. Was expecting cheque for £21 something but have just checked the web site and it says they have taken one cd off as its unsellable so getting cheque for just under £20 which is still not bad.

Its funny though because the cd they took off is the newest out of all of them as I dont really buy many cds these days and I had only "played" it once to put the songs on the pc and didnt really like it so dont know why it would be unsellable. It was the one worth the most money too in the lot I sent them. Still never mind will look forward to the cheque.

That is really odd about Music Magpie rufus! I sold all of my OH's xbox360 games on CEX and they are supposed to be sending a £95 exchange voucher out which is great as he can buy PS3 games now with that (he did know I was selling the xbox games haha!) - it was £95 exchange or £67 cash so better value in the exchange seeing as he wanted new games.

I have made around £50 on eBay in the last two weeks. I can't believe how much paypal and eBay rob you it is awful isn't it.

Well done ellionic - I'm not listing anything this week until RM sort themselves out. It is a shame as I was on a roll with it!

Nicky-Bo - dooyoo vary but usually within 7 days - often a lot sooner.

jamtart6, i was worried about buying and selling things on there due to postage strikes to, and my wardrobe is crammed again so time to have another clearout i really dont know where the clothes come from. got some of tom's bits to take to my local charity shop, and some to go on ebay so i may risk it and hope for the best. cant believe time is nearly up for the challenge, eek time to get selling and survey'ing and hope i have reached my target. well done everyone, and mum2one.

Another £7 on Boots card today, and £4.00 luncheon vouchers, takes me to £550.

Picked up the £75 gift voucher from Boots (inc in total, but spent that and Boots points, - the original price goods would of been £220, then knocked off 3 4 2, my points, just spent £4.00) xx

Had an email from Amazon this morning saying if I joined Lovefilm for the 2 weeks free trial and then paid the first months subscription I would get £20 Amazon voucher so have signed up and ordered a couple of games for the ps2 to see if we like them before buying them. The monthly subscription is just under £4 and can stop at any time.

Also saw this thread on the discount codes and vouchers for Priceminister http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1978955

If you register and buy something from their site ( I think it has to be over £5) you get £5 off with the code. I ordered two dvds for OH, came to just over £8 and paid £3 and went through Quidco so getting £5 back from there too. Had a confirmation email from Quidco to say that it had tracked.

    Hi jamtart6,
I was wondering if you’re going to continue with this thread next year? I’ve only just caught onto the joys of MSE and I’ve started registering for opinion sites and looking at other ways to become money neutral in 2010... I’d like to give this a proper crack next year... once Christmas is out of the way... so will you all be continuing and can I join inn if you are?

Hope she is, she's saved me a fortune this yr, and the thread as. I think we've all worked brilliantly this year, both new and old mse'ers, and as I hope to continue the Santas Challenge next yr, needs its sister thread xx
