This was on Martins Email this week, but for anyone who missed it if you take 5 old books into IKEA they will give you a FREE £5 gift card. It says 1 card per person but I'm sure if you roped a few people in to help you could split the books up, I know a few people were asking about selling books so hope this is of some use.

Will be going through my books later and see a few trips to ikea coming on.

Thanks Jammy about the twilight bits. The course is in quilting and it was quite good last night. The quilts we are making are quite easy to do, seem to be cutting strips of fabric and sewing them together to make wider strips at the moment. The finished article which she showed us was like a chequer board with one patterned rectangle and one plain rectangle in co-ordinating colour. The plain rectangles are a bit larger than the patterned ones.

I am doing it for my daughter for Xmas to go with her new room and have bought some fab fabrics in pinks, white and black, some flowery and some striking with skulls on, even one with pink panther on lol. Just have to make sure she doesnt see me doing it or it will give the game away.

Have some more to cut out and then sew together to make the strips before next week but should manage it although wont get any done till the weekend what with hospital appointments today and tomorrow.
