Another tip with washing powder, to try and prevent your son's reaction (and save money) is to only use a fraction of the amount the box says to use. Your clothes will get just as clean but there will be less powder left in them after the wash to cause a reaction.Happy New Year :beer:0

Asda are doing the 2.85kg boxes for £4 atm instead of £6.61. I've just bought the persil liquid tabs for £2 from morrisons it says 10 washes but i only use 1 tab so get 20 washes from a box.0

Asda have the 4.75kg boxes of powder which are 50 washes , 2 for £16.
I always use half the amount it says as my daughter has eczema and our clothes aren't really dirty anyway. I also put it direct in the drum as I find it disolves better as I use a cool wash.0 -
Tesco have lots of different persils for £4.00 I also had a £1 off voucher from my tesco clubcard mailing this month, so makes it a great deal:cool: cazwasere :hello:
