Hi, I was wondering if somebody could help me?
My partner took out a 10k loan with A & L in 2004 and in 2005 got a settlement figure from them and paid off the loan.
We are currently going through the process of getting a mortgage and it has came back that she has a default on her credit report for 201 pounds from A & L (Which is the cost of the loan payment she had).
Can anyone advise what she should do as she paid off the loan around 4 years ago and has not heard anything from A & L, and knew nothing of this until we have applied for this mortgage.
Thanks for any help and advice anyone can give.
