Hi,
I want to setup a standing order for my CSA payments but am not sure of the correct account details for them. My Giro paying-in slips show:
Account number: 643 7753, then 43-77-53
Is this correct or is it the account details posted on Wikipedia:
Bank: HSBC
Name: Client Fund Account
Sort: 40-34-18
A/C: 41775448

I would imagine the correct one is the one on your giro slip provided by them so that once the monies are transferred it would go to the correct dept. I cant imagine why they would send you the wrong giro slip details!0

You must make sure they know who's paid in the money. No good paying into a generic fund.
Get this right. Phone them if necessary. And don't be talked into a DD

The account number on wikipedia is not correct however I'm not so sure it belongs to HSBC, thought it was Lloyds s/c 40-43-18 A/N 41775448, the reference number is your NI number and SO to is the CSA (child/ren's name) :T0 -
Just spoke to CSA and they confirmed the details as:
Bank: HSBC
Name: Client Fund Account
Sort: 40-34-18
A/C: 41775448
Thought others may want to know too!Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

I have the printout in front of me, and have been paying via the sort code and account number since November 2007.
Now this is where it gets interesting .
I'm looking at the original paperwork and at the bottom shows the HSBC Newcastle as you inform, but at the top shows lloyds0 -
Thanks DUTR, reassuring to know you are using the same account and sort, although not sure why different banks! As long as the account number etc are correct then it should be fineSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

I'm wondering if they have recently changed???? I have posted a thread regarding a refund (lots looked nobody replied)
anyways , I have just phoned my bank to check where my SO have been going to and they confirm 40-43-18 , however only last week my 2nd to last payment was returned to my account. Or could it be that it is to do with CMEC transfer???0 -

I looked but I couldn't answer your question or even come up with any conjectures as to why you'd been refunded.
Nothing personal
