Don't use 'supermarket' bread - I found that it leaves a grey mark. 'Real' bread is okay for this.0

I've used white vinegar for cleaning windows etc and its really effective - doesn't smell as nice as lemon juice, but is far cheaper. The smell doesn't linger. for long.0

I use my vacuum cleaner on my fabric shades, with the soft brush attachment. I know it doesn't fragrance the room, but if you have 'difficult' shades, it works wonders (I inherited some original 70's shades in this house, look a bit like that thing Joe 90 used to sit in:) Apparently very fashionable I'm told, but I like 'em anyway)0
