Oh dear, it's not great weather for it, my poor DD is going to get soaked.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

just to let you guys know yesterday was terrible - the stall beside us had there stall blow over by 10am!! then ours blew over just as the parade was entering the park! weve lost about £300 worth of equipment and got no customers at all yesterday!!! what a dissapointing year, ive never seen it that bad. I spoke to an ice cream man who was 2 stalls away for me, and in the 9hours we had been there he made £30 with thousands of pound worth of stock!!Life is what you make it.0

Oh that sounds awful, I wasn't sure if it would still go ahead and phoned the civic centre to make sure before we left. My DD was saturated and we gave the park a miss, such a shame it wasn't on today instead.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

I know I was thinking that myself this morning and have been cursing the sun ever since (understandable I think) we tried to make the best of a bad situation and my mum and grandma went and handed out leaflets about my photography business to all the parents in the park and we seemed to get a good response I just hope we get some sort of feedback from it - Im writing to the council cos Im disguisted that the event staff just watche as both myself and my business partner (both females) struggled with our gazebo which was blowing off over our car roof - I was literally screaming for help but just got blank stares back - no one was prepared to walk out of their tent in the rain to help Im still shocked, Ive actually pulled my shoulder from the sheer force of having to pull the gazebo down and stop it from blowing away, could you imagine if we let it go and some poor child or any member of the public had it fall on them, and it would have been all our fault!
Just know not to buy another stall next year - cant trust the council after this really!Life is what you make it.0 -
I know i'm gonna get called pedantic for this - but the correct title is Mayor of Lisburn and not Lord Mayor
That said, I was going to go to the park on Sat but decided against it because of the weatherThe Daily Mail
