saw this Sony 20gb mp3 player in Argos for only £99! they've slashed it by half! you'd better be quick, I imagine this will be limited stock and they wont be there long!

Before Xmas they had other mp3s on sale, again couldn't find one in stock anywhere. They should stop with the false advertising..catch220

Implying the fact that it might be available nationwide, when noone can find stock is false advertising IMHO.
Argos should be forced reveal where stock is instead of making us find it (made quite deliberate on their part as it makes ppl browse and window shop their site)

The same story with the 19" TFT monitor for £120 they recently 'had for sale'. I called them (about the monitor) & they did not have stock anywhere.
They can be contacted on 0870 600 3030 - they'll do an online stock check while you hold. The 0870 call will last under 10 min (it did for me when I enquired about the monitor anyway). All the best, G0 -

Not sure if it would save you money but there is a geographical number for that number you gave which is 01908 690333 but as i said maybe the 0870 is a local call anyway?
