Like many of you, I too got my Cahoot Loan. When I first logged on, I noticed that the interest rate wasn't listed as 0%, so I emailed Cahoot asking them to confirm my rate. I got an email back:
"I can confirm that the interest rate is 0% until March 2005."
Phew Thinks I.
I log in today and find that I have been charged interest of nearly £60. So I got on the phone straight away to Cahoot only to be told that I didn't have a 0% loan?!
After much discussion with me pointing out that I had confirmed on the telephone when I applied AND I had an email from them confirming the rate, the chap has gone away to see what can be done! I told him that even if for some reason I was not eligible for the 0% loan, they had better find away to fix that as I had written confirmation that I was!
Forgive any lack of grammar in this post -- I am somewhat distraught!
I'll keep you informed!

Just had chappie on the phone -- They are very sorry about the mix up and will be refunding my interest and resetting the interest rate to 0%. Provided this happens in the next couple of days, as promised, I shall consider this a compaint well handled ;DThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I guess they had no choice, but to fix it. It's got nothing to do with service really.
I'd request something extra for the extra hassle they caused.0 -
True. I'd call the service commendable if you did not have the e-mail confirmation, and they still admitted their mistake and addressed it promptly !!!It's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!0
