just avoid the bob the builder style ones that match the bike, they dont fit properly, best be safe rather than sorry ! as everyone has suggested your local bike shop will fit it to your childs head, my 5 years old actually has an adults hat ...... he has a huge swede love him !!!!!!!0

I finally got hold of helmets today. Went round to Halfords, they had a huge range. Didn't go for kids ones as I knew they weren't going to fit anyway. Got a medium sized adults one for both of them. They both have huge nonces, they are chuffed to bits with them. Unfortunately, raining when we got back so they couldn't give them a test run. Thanks for all the info, advice etc, appreciate it.
