Really helpful programme - thanks Martin.

Does anyone know - is it just joint bank accounts and mortgages that link you to an ex-partner in this kind of way, or is it joint tenancy agreements as well?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Unfortunately missed this, do you have an article on it? I am asking for DS 24 who is working away from home in rented accommodation, and will at some point in the future want a mortgage. He has a graduate bank account, with an agreed 0% overdraft, which he keeps to, a credit card, and pays it on time to build up a credit rating, he doesn't have a lot on it (£500), and its 0% and he is clearing it before it runs out (he hopes), and of course his student loan, He is still on the electoral roll at our home address, he has not had any loans. His bank and credit card accounts are based at our home address, and his statements come here and I am requested to open his mail so know the above to be fact.

Is there anything else he can do to improve his credit rating?

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?

You can watch it on the ITV catch up player here:

And there's an article about it here:

Or you can read the MSE pages about it here:

Pleasure - would be interested to hear your thoughts. I only saw it for the first time tonight.

While i think the subject and clinic was strong - i was concerned there was too much of me and too much voice over in it - and not sure how well it flowed - a little slow starting I think we had so much info that the producers used voice-over as it takes less time rather than the clinic stuff which probably flowed better.

Did the message come across - or was it info overload?

Ah cool I didn't know you were on here!:j:money: lol

I enjoyed the program, thought it was interesting, just watched it on itv player:beer:
