Mortgage is being overpaid by £100 per month I know I should put it towards debts each month but it does not seem to make it!!
Why doesn't it make it? Is it not just a case of paying that £100 to a credit card instead of the mortgage company?
Like RAS says, you're saving a miniscule interest rate by overpaying on your mortgage, but paying out a huge interest rate on your debts. This doesn't make financial sense!
Also agree with changing to a water meter. This saved my family £34 a month.0
